Description
This image presents autumn morning cross lighting with a painterly character. The Bosque (Spanish for forest) could be likened to the rain forest of the Rio Grande river in central New Mexico. The hush of tall cottonwood trees with dense brush undergrowth and trails worn by foot and bike traffic create a relaxing environment alongside the river. The “Bosque”as it’s commonly known in central New Mexico extends for about 40 miles from north of Corrales through Albuquerque to the south around Los Lunas and Belen.
This photograph was made in a section of the Bosque in north Albuquerque called the “Open Space” in November 2008 using a Canon EOS 5D with a Canon 24-105mm F/4 L lens. RAW file conversion was completed with Adobe Raw Converter and editing completed with Photoshop and Topaz Labs software.
